I noticed Bama Rush as a Thing last year this time when people like me (older than college, confused) were posting on Tiktok: I don’t know how I ended up on Rush Tiktok but I’m hooked.

The gateway was OOTD (outfit of the day) videos posted by PNMs (potential new members, usually freshmen in college hoping to join a sorority.)
